About Me

Since Graduating from Uni I have worked mainly as a performer, playing the drums.I have a grade 8, am a competent sight reader and can comfortably play any contemporary drumming style either live or in a studio. I studied at the University of Westminster gaining a 2.1 degree in Commercial Music B.A. (Hons.) . I studied business strategy under Keith Harris (Head of Music Tank) and specialised in writing about music and economics as well as politics. I also have A-levels in Performing Arts and Drama and love playing comical characters and working inside the theatrical device of 'Total Theatre'.

Credits And Employment History

I am currently employed by the theatre company Rideout - creative arts for reabilitation - as a musician and performer untill March the 14th of this year when I have no other work booked as yet. I have mainly worked as a session and live musician with hundreds of hours of studio experience and hundreds of live shows including Glastonbury in 2005. I also done a four month internship at ministry of sound records and went on to work as a media analyst in the Mayor of Londons press office in City Hall.

2.1 Degree in Commercial Music BA (Hons.) from the University of Westminster.

HND in popular Music from Access to Music, Norwich.

A levels in Media, Performing Arts and Sociology

Technical Equipment

Two drum kits, one Premier APK, one Pearl Rhythm Traveller, one Marimba, one Xylophone, various djembe's and other hand drums, wood blocks, cow bells and a tamberine.

Other Skills / Additional Information

I think my main skills are personal skills as you have to be very friendly in the world of live music as in the studio as well as in the office environment. I am a great organiser of people and of my own time and have made many succesful projects out of it. I am familiar with all office equipment and microsoft works programmes and well used to the pressure of a busy press office
