As a hard working professional singer, I am often taken in many different directions but I mainly work as the lead vocalist and co-writer with alternative country rock/bluegrass band, The Big River Bandits, formerly The Big River Band, and as lead vocalist with hi-tech duo, The Big River Duo.
If our clients prefer a trio or function/covers/party band, we are joined by our other professional band members and I sing lead vocals with The Big River trio or Big River - function band.
I am the band manager & administrator for all the above acts.
I sometimes work as a solo performer or dep in other bands.
Also a session singer. Versatile with excellent vocal range for all styles of music from all eras.

Renee and Gerry Power formed The Big River Duo, Trio and Function band in 2003 and have built up an exceptional reputation as versatile entertainers suitable for all age groups and audiences at any type of event.
In 2006 they went on to form a country rock band, playing country rock, swing, bluegrass, rockabilly and traditional country music. Original material and covers.

They have performed at numerous weddings, anniversary and birthday parties. Ladies and gentlemen's Masonic do's, festivals, sports clubs, social clubs, balls, holiday parks, Hotels, restaurants and bars. For corporate and private clients.

Corporate clients include Thames Water, John Lewis plc, Norwood Schools, The Twickenham Yacht Club, The Keyhaven Yacht Club, The British Toolmakers Association, The British Newsagents Association and more.

Renee & Gerry performed as one of the resident duos for The Hilton Hotels in Park Lane, Olympia and Bracknell, and play at The Hilton Hotel in Watford & Olympia.

During 2005 they played at many of The Gala Casinos up and down the country.

They have performed in many of London's prestigious Hotels including The Guoman Tower on Tower Bridge, The Mandarin Hotel in Knightsbridge and The Landmark Hotel off Baker Street, plus many more.

Other prestigious venues include The Complete Angler whose guests have included Royalty, Bisham Abbey, training venue for The England football squad, Wentworth Golf Club, Henley Regatta, The Jazz Cafe, Arley Hall, Farnham Castle and numerous others

Joined by John, in 2004 they played as the resident trio onboard The Val De Loire for Brittany Ferries and have since performed at many events together.
