About Me

I am 24 years old.

I have been a bassist since 1998.

I consider myself to be a competent bassist, and ready for any challenges.

I am currently (amongst various projects) in a folk/jazzy group called Sweet Sweet Lies (www.myspace.com/sweetsweetliesmusic) a trumpet-orientated trip-hop/acid jazz 5 piece called Droptear Modelmaker (www.myspace.com/droptearmodelmaker) ,
And session for Pete Bennett and The Love Dogs (www.myspace.com/perfectpetemusic)

I am also a first call depping bassist for a Functions agency called Next Stage (www.thenextstage.co.uk) . I play all over the country with the agency under various different function bands.

I have played bass in several local musical plays/productions including: Into The Woods, Les Miserables, Beggars Opera, and We Will Rock You.
I have also played in various jazz and big band outfits.

My sightreading is not strong, but I would love to participate in more music productions to help me strengthen this much more.
I also sing backing vocals, and have sung in a rendition of Rutters Requiem and various school choirs.

My ultimate goal is to make a career out of bass playing . I just absolutely love to play and perform. Whether that be in an original band, or as a session player.
