Mainly a Piano/keyboard player, but also proficient on Bass/Guitar/drums and precussion. I'm a feel player with a core style of blues, but capability across the full spectrum, classical/pop/country/rock/r&b/rock&roll/soul and jazz. Also songwriter/Composer/Arranger and vocalist.

Currently touring UK Theatres with "Real Diamond", Neil Diamond Trubute, and working with 'Drive South' (Jazz, Sophisticated Pop, classic Soul and modern country),solo work as JBlack (with vocals – contemporary rock, R&R, and Jazz/Blues, and just solo jazz piano), session work with Dave Berry, and "The Kahunas" Rock Band and also local residencies. Wrote and performed music in the play 'Green Leaves of Nottingham' at the Nottingham Playhouse and have worked with many bands across the UK.
